Barker’s Tea Rooms, Cardiff.

What a lush way to spend a Sunday afternoon and have some afternoon tea! I’ve been for afternoon tea at a few different places now but I think Barker’s Tea Rooms has definitely been my favourite.

They presented us with a menu full of different types of teas, I picked the ‘Berry Fruity’ I love fruity tea and Blake picked the peppermint. We had a variety of sandwiches, different types of cakes and the scones were still warm from the oven.

I went with my partner Blake and my two friends Laura & Luc who have before and highly recommended it to us. We were spoilt with the food so at the end they gave us a goodie bag to take home some of the left over cake.

This isn’t at all a sponsor post in fact I wasn’t planning on doing a review until I was walking in and seen the decor’ then I thought to myself ‘I need to blog this!’ I loved the old fashion vintage decor the most as it was so unique.

If you’re in the Wales area definitely check it out, it was £35 for two people and it’s situated in the High Street Arcade just off Cardiff Queen Street.

The address is 8 – 12 High Street Arcade, Cardiff CF10 1BB

  1. I’ve been past here many times and always fancied going in. I’ve been to their sister company – Barker Coffee over in the Castle Arcade and always enjoyed it. Their cakes are nice over there too. I much prefer these independent tea/coffee shops than somewhere like Starbucks (which is very overrated). Looks like you had a nice time here though, I will have to check it out sometime x
